The summer holidays might still be in full swing, but the new school year is only a few weeks away. For teachers, PTA groups, school administrators and anyone responsible for organising events, August is a useful opportunity to start getting the autumn term calendar sorted before September becomes busy.
If your school is planning fun days, reward events, fundraising activities, Halloween celebrations, end-of-term parties or other occasions during the autumn term, now is a good time to arrange your entertainment. Get Your Autumn School Events Planned Early
Schools often have several events packed into a relatively short autumn term. Once pupils return, weeks can pass quickly between the start of term, Halloween, half-term and the run-up to Christmas. Booking the main attractions now means there is one less job to deal with once the school year is underway.

Obstacle Courses for Busy School Events
When you have larger numbers of pupils to entertain, an obstacle course can be particularly useful. Children can move through the inflatable in sequence, making obstacle courses well suited to school fun days, activity sessions and events where different classes or year groups are taking turns.

Book Before the Autumn Diary Fills Up
If you already know that your school will be holding an event this autumn, there is little advantage in waiting until September to organise the equipment. Getting the booking arranged before pupils return means you can start the new term knowing the entertainment is already sorted. Choose your date, consider the age and number of pupils attending, check your available indoor or outdoor space and book the equipment that suits your plans. Then when autumn term begins, you can concentrate on everything else that comes with the return to school.
