A Party Obstacle Course With a Proper Start-to-Finish Route
The Party Obstacle Course gives guests somewhere to race, climb, scramble and slide rather than simply bouncing in one place. Its route progresses through several different challenges, making it particularly well suited to energetic birthday parties, school events, family fun days and community celebrations.
There is no character theme to dictate the occasion either. A colourful Party Time design gives the inflatable a general celebration theme, with a predominantly blue structure, contrasting red pillars and bright multi-coloured artwork. That makes it an easy choice for mixed groups of boys and girls.
It All Starts Through the Tunnels
Participants enter through the tunnelled front section, immediately giving the obstacle course a different feel from an open-fronted inflatable. Once through the entrance, they encounter two bish bash posts that have to be negotiated before progressing further into the course.
Next come the up-and-under rollers. These introduce a different type of movement as users work their way through the bouncing section and towards the larger challenge waiting at the other end.
The Course Gets Taller as You Progress
After negotiating the ground-level obstacles, it is time to head upwards. A substantial climbing wall takes participants towards the highest section of the inflatable.
Reaching the top earns them the quickest part of the journey: a large 8ft slide back towards ground level. From there, anyone who wants another attempt can head back towards the entrance and tackle the route again.
Race It or Take It at Your Own Pace
An obstacle course naturally encourages competition, but it does not have to be formally organised as a race. Children can simply make their way through the different sections, or friends can challenge one another to see who can negotiate the tunnels, posts, rollers and climbing wall most efficiently.
At bigger events, you could also incorporate the inflatable into organised games or team activities. Its clear progression from entrance to exit makes it particularly suitable for events where you want participants to keep moving through an attraction.
Why the Party Theme Is Useful
Character inflatables are excellent when the birthday child has a particular favourite, but they are not necessarily the right choice for every occasion. The Party Obstacle Course avoids that issue altogether.
Its bright Party Time artwork works for birthdays without being tied to one age-specific character, while the general design also suits school celebrations, community events and other occasions where dozens of children may have completely different interests.
Plan Enough Space for the Whole Course
Obstacle courses require more consideration than simply finding somewhere for the main inflatable footprint. You also need the appropriate operating clearance, a suitable route for our team to bring the equipment to the setup position and enough unobstructed space around the entrance and exit.
If your event is being held in a garden or at a venue with restricted access, check the product dimensions and access requirements before completing your booking. Our team can help if you are uncertain whether the available area is suitable.

Start at the Tunnel and Aim for the 8ft Slide
If you want an inflatable where children have a series of different challenges to complete, the Party Obstacle Course provides considerably more variety than straightforward bouncing. The tunnel is the starting line. The 8ft slide is the reward at the other end.
