What to Expect on the Day of Delivery

Knowing what will happen on the day of delivery helps your event run smoothly. This guide explains what to expect before we arrive, how setup works, what we need from you, and how collection is handled once your hire is finished.

Before we arrive

Before delivery, make sure the agreed setup area is clear and ready. This means removing garden furniture, toys, vehicles, or any obstacles from the space where the inflatable will be installed. Please also ensure there is a clear access route from where our vehicle can park to the setup area.

If your booking is indoors, confirm that the hall or venue will be open at the agreed time and that ceiling height and floor space are suitable. Having measurements ready helps avoid delays.

Arrival times and delivery windows

Delivery times are usually scheduled within a time window rather than an exact minute. This allows us to work efficiently across multiple bookings. If you have a specific access time due to a hall booking or school schedule, this should be discussed in advance.

Access and carrying distance

Our team may need to carry the inflatable from the vehicle to the setup area using a sack trolley. Narrow gates, steps, gravel paths or long distances can affect delivery, so please let us know in advance if access is restricted. Clear access helps us complete setup quickly and safely.

Setting up the inflatable

Once on site, we position the inflatable in the agreed location and secure it properly. Safety mats are placed where required, and the inflatable is connected to power and fully inflated. Setup usually takes around fifteen minutes, depending on the size of the unit and access conditions.

Safety checks and instructions

After setup, we carry out a visual safety check and explain how the inflatable should be used. This includes maximum user numbers, age suitability, supervision requirements and weather considerations. Please take a moment to listen, as this information is important for safe use.

Power requirements

Inflatables require a suitable power source. Please ensure a working socket is available within reasonable distance of the setup area. Extension leads should not cross walkways or be left in standing water. If power is not available, discuss this with us before delivery.

During the hire period

While the inflatable is in use, a responsible adult must supervise at all times. If the inflatable is not being used for a period, switching off the blower is recommended. If weather conditions change or you have any concerns, stop use and contact us for advice.

What to do if something changes

If access changes, weather becomes unsuitable, or the venue layout is different than expected, let us know as soon as possible. Early communication allows us to suggest safe alternatives, including moving indoors if space allows.

Collection at the end of your hire

Collection usually takes place after your hire period has ended. Please ensure the inflatable is clear of users and that access routes remain unobstructed. Deflation and loading typically take a similar amount of time to setup.

Helping the day run smoothly

The easiest way to ensure a smooth delivery day is to prepare the space, confirm access and power, and communicate any changes early. This allows us to complete delivery, setup and collection efficiently so you can focus on enjoying your event.
