How We Keep Bouncy Castles Hygienic

Keeping bouncy castles clean and hygienic is essential for safe, enjoyable use. Our cleaning process follows clear routines before and after every hire, with additional checks built in to maintain high standards across all equipment.

Cleaning after every hire

Every inflatable is cleaned after use. This includes wiping down all contact surfaces such as entrance steps, bouncing areas, slide lanes and internal walls. High-touch areas receive extra attention to remove dirt, marks and residue from normal use.

Using suitable cleaning products

We use cleaning products that are appropriate for inflatable materials. These products are effective at removing grime and maintaining hygiene without damaging seams, stitching or printed artwork. Harsh chemicals are avoided to protect both users and the equipment.

Drying inflatables properly

Inflatables must be fully dry before being packed away. Moisture left inside can cause odours and material issues over time. After cleaning, inflatables are allowed to dry completely before rolling and storage.

Visual inspections before storage

Cleaning also gives us the opportunity to inspect each inflatable closely. During this process we check seams, anchor points, zips and netting for signs of wear or damage. Any issues are dealt with before the next hire.

Clean storage between hires

Once dry, inflatables are stored in clean, dry conditions to prevent contamination. Storage areas are kept organised so inflatables are not dragged across dirty surfaces or exposed to unnecessary moisture.

Checks again on delivery day

Before delivery, inflatables are unrolled and checked again. This final check ensures the unit is clean, dry and ready for use. If an inflatable does not meet our hygiene standards, it is not sent out.

Blowers and accessories are included

Hygiene is not limited to the inflatable itself. Blowers, extension leads and safety mats are also checked and cleaned as needed. These items are handled regularly and are part of the overall setup.

What we ask from customers

To help maintain hygiene during the hire, food, drinks, chewing gum and face paint should be kept away from the inflatable. Shoes must be removed before use, and any soiling should be reported as soon as possible.

Safe use supports cleanliness

Good supervision helps keep inflatables clean during use. Managing numbers, separating age groups and stopping unsafe behaviour reduces excessive wear and helps maintain hygiene throughout the event.

Why hygiene matters

Clean equipment is safer, more pleasant to use and lasts longer. Regular cleaning and inspection reduce risk and help ensure every customer receives an inflatable that is ready to use.

If you ever have questions about hygiene or cleaning procedures, we are happy to explain how equipment is prepared before your booking.
